The ACLC community believes that all students have unique capabilities to learn and excel. As a result, all learners have the chance to reach their highest level. We don't expect all learners to get there at the same time, but we encourage all learners to do whatever they do well. It works.

Parents participate in the community in many ways -- from providing adult supervision during lunch to serving on the Governing Board, from teaching to digging dirt. All participation is welcome.

During the open enrollment period in March, we often must use a lottery to decide who will be able to attend ACLC. There is no other selection method.

This year, because our sister school, NCLC opened its doors last year and created more spaces for learners, we have a few openings. These openings will be filled on a first come, first served basis. Don't wait. Apply now.
